Take a moment to get to know this week’s Featured Creative!

Michael Clark grew up in Montana where he developed his passion for the outdoors, drawing, painting, and sculpture. He directed his life by unifying three main areas of interest; community, nature, and creativity.  Through this combination he worked as an artist and stone worker. He served for years as an art therapist, developed an outdoor therapy program for children, worked with teens in recovery, and children in a hospital setting. Travel and engagement with a people from a variety of cultures strongly influenced his work.

Currently, his drawings represent both abstract and illustrative forms.  Seemingly unrelated imagery is combined to represent an underlying connectivity.  The images may suggest a story, a mystery, or illicit questions that the viewer is invited to answer.
